Secure Area - Newsletter - 2 Logout



We are really excited to have you in Microsoft Student Project program, which is driving the whole academia community into a flurry of activities, soaring expectations with a rush of adrenalin. And we are sure that you are keeping-up the excitement working on your project. In the previous communication, we had given you information on finding technical support and answered some of the frequently asked questions. An archive of all previous communication is being maintained in the 'Secure Area'.

This newsletter covers information on all the subsequent processes in brief, so that you can gear-up accordingly. Please be informed that there is an internal review coming-up, where your faculty Mentor will review your project.

Program Outline:

1. Internal review document template for your internal project review will be available from November 15, 2004, in the secure area for download. Please download this document and get it filled after the project is reviewed by your faculty Mentor and send it across on or before December 31, 2004, failing which the document will not be accepted and the evaluation score will not be taken into consideration for the final score.

Further details about the internal review will be available on the template document itself.


2. Between February and March 2005, there will be another review, which will be a face to face review with a Microsoft Technology Specialist. These reviews will be held across these cities*: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Calcutta, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Mumbai, Trichy, Vijayawada, Visakapatnam. The exact schedule and further details on these reviews will be available early January 2005.


3. The best projects will be invited to be showcased at Student Project Expo to be held in during April 2005.


4. All successfully completed projects will receive a certificate from Microsoft.
